The service is staffed by psychologists and psychotherapists who have been trained to help people deal with some of the difficulties they may experience in life. These vary considerably and may include: Emotional problems such as anxiety, anger, depression, fears and bereavement. Problems with unwanted persistent thoughts and behaviours. Problems arising from traumatic or disturbed childhood or adult experiences. Problems with self- image and self esteem. Relationship difficulties. Problems related to food and eating. Problems arising from hearing voices or other unusual experiences. A psychological therapist will try to help you to understand your particular difficulties and to develop ways of dealing with them.
