The service is staffed by psychologists and psychotherapists who help people deal with severe and enduring emotional and psychological difficulties they may experience in life. These vary considerably; could include, emotional problems - anxiety, anger, depression, fears and bereavement, problems with unwanted persistent thoughts and behaviour, problems arising from trauma, also problems with self-image, self esteem and relationship difficulties. Service staff offer individual and group therapy and work jointly with the Community Mental Health Teams. |
